I bought this for my grandson who is into zombies. When I looked thru this book (more like a few pieces of cardboard) with the same drawing on each page, with one sentence per page, I realized that this is an overpriced rip off. There is NO story line. The picture on the cover is the same thru out the book. There is no plot, no story, no nothing. With the shipping and handling and tax your paying over $ 21.00 for nothing.Page one: Hey Little Zombie Are You Hungry? Page two: Brains.
Page 3: I don't have any, what else would you like? Page four: Brains.
This moronic dialoge goes on for ten more pages. Then: The End.
This so called children's book is written for a child of three months.
I'm sure that the five star reviews were written by the publisher. I gave it to my grandson anyway who is nine, and he read it in thirty seconds then threw it away. I don't blame him. I repeat, save your money, instead go to any comic book store and buy a real zombie comic. Don't waste your money on this piece of trash.

This is a great book for children of all ages. Good fun for kids and adults alike. The illustration is adorable and writing is easy to follow, engaging and just down right funny.
As a fan of horror, and a collector of unique children's books I heard about "Hey Little Zombie" by James Olstein and was immediately intregued. When the package arrived I couldn't open it up fast enough and found myself thumbing through the book. The illustrations are fantastic----the main character is adorable and the story is great. I recommend this book for adults as well as children. It is a fun read and the artwork alone is worth a prime spot on any bookshelf.
